Terms of Service for Snap2Plan

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Snap2Plan (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Snap2Plan is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to extract calendar events and reminders from text and images. The app provides:

Free Trial: 25 AI queries and 7 days of free access
Pro Subscription: Unlimited AI queries for €0.99 per month after a 7-day free trial

3. Subscription Terms

Free Trial

New users receive 25 free AI queries
Free trial lasts for 7 days from first app launch
Whichever limit is reached first (25 queries OR 7 days) ends the free trial

Pro Subscription (€0.99/month)

Price: €0.99 per month (or equivalent in your local currency)
Free Trial: 7 days free, then €0.99/month
Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Payment: Charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
Refunds: Handled according to Apple’s refund policy

Managing Your Subscription

Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
Cancel anytime to avoid future charges
Access continues until the end of the current billing period

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

✅ Use the app for lawful purposes only
✅ Provide accurate information
✅ Respect intellectual property rights
✅ Not attempt to reverse engineer or hack the app

You agree NOT to:

❌ Use the app for illegal activities
❌ Share your API keys or Google credentials with others
❌ Attempt to bypass subscription limits
❌ Use the app to spam or harass others
❌ Violate OpenAI’s or Google’s usage policies

5. Intellectual Property

The app and its content are owned by Clarity Events AI and protected by copyright laws
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app

6. AI Service Usage

This app uses AI services to process your data. Depending on which mode you choose:

Uses OpenAI’s GPT API

Google Mode:

Uses Google Gemini API

By using this app, you agree to the terms of the AI service provider you choose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Accuracy of AI-extracted events and reminders
Uninterrupted or error-free service
Fitness for a particular purpose
Security of data transmission

Important: Always verify AI-extracted events before saving them to your calendar.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We are NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
We are NOT liable for missed events, incorrect calendar entries, or data loss
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription (€0.99)

10. Calendar and Reminder Access

Apple Mode:

Requires permission to access Apple Calendar and Reminders
Permissions managed in iPhone Settings

Google Mode:

Requires Google Sign-In and OAuth permissions
Access to Google Calendar and Google Tasks
You can revoke Google access anytime in Google Account settings

The app only reads/writes data with your explicit permission.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to:

Suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms
Discontinue the app at any time with reasonable notice
Modify features or pricing with 30 days notice

You may terminate your use by:

Uninstalling the app
Canceling your subscription in your Apple ID settings

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

Updating the “Last Updated” date
Displaying a notice in the app
Email notification (if applicable)

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the app shall be resolved through:

Good faith negotiation
Mediation (if negotiation fails)
Binding arbitration or courts of Finland

17. Entire Agreement

By using Snap2Plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
