Terms of Service for Snap2Plan

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Snap2Plan (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Snap2Plan is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to extract calendar events and reminders from text and images. The app provides:

• Free Trial: 14 days of free access
• Pro Subscription: Unlimited AI queries for €1.99 per month after a 14-day free trial

3. Subscription Terms

Free Trial

• New users receive a 14-day free trial from first app launch
• After the trial period ends, a Pro subscription is required to continue using AI features

Pro Subscription (€1.99/month)

• Price: €1.99 per month (or equivalent in your local currency)
• Free Trial: 14 days free, then €1.99/month
• Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment: Charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Cancellation: You can cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
• Refunds: Handled according to Apple’s refund policy

Note (Effective April 26, 2026): The free trial period has been extended from 7 to 14 days and the subscription price updated to €1.99/month. Users who subscribed before this date at €0.99/month are not affected by the price change.

Managing Your Subscription

• Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• Cancel anytime to avoid future charges
• Access continues until the end of the current billing period

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• ✅ Use the app for lawful purposes only
• ✅ Provide accurate information
• ✅ Respect intellectual property rights
• ✅ Not attempt to reverse engineer or hack the app

You agree NOT to:

• ❌ Use the app for illegal activities
• ❌ Share your API keys with others
• ❌ Attempt to bypass subscription limits
• ❌ Use the app to spam or harass others
• ❌ Violate OpenAI’s usage policies

5. Intellectual Property

• The app and its content are owned by Clarity Events AI and protected by copyright laws
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app

6. AI Service Usage

This app uses OpenAI’s GPT API to process your data. By using this app, you also agree to:

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Accuracy of AI-extracted events and reminders
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Security of data transmission

Important: Always verify AI-extracted events before saving them to your calendar.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• We are NOT liable for missed events, incorrect calendar entries, or data loss
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription (€1.99)

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data:

10. Calendar and Reminder Access

• Requires permission to access Apple Calendar and Reminders
• Permissions managed in iPhone Settings
• The app only reads/writes data with your explicit permission

11. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services:

AI Services:

• OpenAI GPT: For AI processing (subject to OpenAI’s terms)

Calendar & Task Services:

• Apple Calendar/Reminders: For saving events and reminders (subject to Apple’s terms)

Infrastructure & Payments:

• Supabase: Edge Functions as secure proxy for AI API requests (subject to Supabase’s terms)

12. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms
• Discontinue the app at any time with reasonable notice
• Modify features or pricing with 30 days notice

You may terminate your use by:

• Uninstalling the app
• Canceling your subscription in your Apple ID settings

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Updating the “Last Updated” date
• Displaying a notice in the app
• Email notification (if applicable)

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the app shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation
2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)
3. Binding arbitration or courts of Finland

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Snap2Plan regarding use of the app.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

By using Snap2Plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
